Sonata Diode Laser
With the new Sonata diode laser, hair removal is fast and virtually painless.
The Sonata laser is a diode laser that has been proven to be one of the most effective in targeting hair for removal in most skin types. Diode lasers offer the optimal depth of energy absorption while targeting the melanin within each hair to effectively disable follicles and prevent future hair growth.
Unlike other diode lasers, the Sonata can deliver pulse rates of up to 3 pulses per second. This means that your treatment can be done in 1/3 the time of other lasers. Additionally the Sonata laser delivers two pulses in one. A short powerful pulse quickly heats the hair follicle while a long low energy pulse maintains the heat for a more effective treatment.
Cool Glide Laser
Our Cool Glide Laser is a non-invasive laser, specifically designed to eliminate undesired hair from all parts of the body. The Cool Glide system generates intense, long-pulsed light through an actively-cooled hand-piece. This effectively disables unwanted pigmented hair follicles, thus impairing their growth. Cool Glide delivers non-invasive light energy to hundreds of follicles at one time, so in just a few minutes Cool Glide can effectively treat an area that would take over an hour with electrolysis. Women and men alike can now make facial or body hair a thing of the past. No more painful waxing, electrolysis, or razors.

Pre Treatment Instructions
Description and Benefits: Laser hair removal is done with either a YAG laser or the Sonata laser, depending on skin color and type. The laser energy is absorbed in the melanin (pigment) in the hair follicle. This heats the follicle disabling it from future hair growth. It cannot treat blonde, white or gray hair.
During the Procedure
Numbing cream is applied prior to the treatment. After about 30 minutes, the numbing cream is removed and a cool gel is applied. The laser is then “drawn over” the treatment area. Only a mild sting is felt. The darker the hair and the more coarse the hair, the more you will feel the laser.
Sonata – is a diode laser generating a 810 nm laser beam. This wavelength is most effective in targeting hair for removal in most skin types and offers optimal depth of energy absorption. Unlike other diode lasers, the Sonata can deliver pulse rates of up to 3 pulses per second. Because of the wave technology, the treatment is safer with less discomfort.
YAG - The YAG laser is unique in its ability to treat hair of patients with dark or tanned skin. There is no down time, so you can resume regular activities immediately.
Contraindications
The day of treatment, skin cannot be burned or tanned. Avoid waxing, tweezing, and bleaching hairs for at least 3 weeks before treatment, longer if possible. Shaving is recommended the day before treatment. The hair needs to be stubble short.
Post Treatment Instructions
Immediately after treatment there may be some redness and swelling at the treatment site. This may last for several hours or days. No special skin care is usually necessary.
